Rise Therapy LA
Parent-child therapy, and individual talk therapy with children, adolescents and adults.
The more healthy relationships a child has, the more likely he will be to recover from trauma and thrive. Relationships are the agents of change and the most powerful therapy is human love.

A bit about me
she/her/hers
After spending my formative years in the UK, I relocated to Los Angeles at the age of 20, where I initially embarked on my journey as a nanny. Seeking further growth, I moved to New York City and pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Hunter College, and a graduate degree at the Silberman School of Social Work, with a focus on Child Welfare.
Parenthood brought me back to Los Angeles, where I am now raising my young daughter as a proud single parent. This phase of my life has been deeply transformative, as it has not only enriched my personal experience but also enhanced my professional capacity. My training and education have provided me with invaluable tools to navigate the complexities of life, both as a mother and as a professional. I draw from my experiences with a commitment to continuous learning and personal growth.
My background
As a Child Development Specialist, I have focused on families with children aged 0-3 years old. I was involved in a group attachment-based intervention that was part of the NYC Thrive Initiative. This role allowed me to work under the supervision of Dr. Anne Murphy, in collaboration with Dr. Miriam Steele and Dr. Howard Steele, who are internationally recognized attachment researchers at The Center for Attachment Research at The New School for Social Research.
In my work, I create a space that is grounded in safety, compassion, and authenticity. I am dedicated to helping others face life’s challenges, encouraging them to slow down in a fast-paced world, and fostering a deep sense of self-awareness and well-being. At this stage in my life, I feel more equipped than ever to guide others, while remaining open to new experiences and insights that continue to shape me as both a mother and a human being.
I remain deeply committed to providing a safe and supportive space, helping others navigate life’s challenges with empathy and understanding.

Working with new parents
I’m passionate about supporting new parents, drawing from my recent experience of the challenges and joys of early parenthood. The intense adjustment, sleep deprivation, and unexpected aspects of new parenthood are still fresh in my memory. This fuels my commitment to offer the guidance and resources I wish I had, creating a supportive environment where parents can share their struggles and find practical advice to boost their confidence in their new roles.
Attachment therapy
I have chosen attachment-centered work because I recognize the profound impact of the parent-child relationship, particularly in the earliest months of life. This understanding has ignited a deep passion within me to support families in nurturing their children’s development and resilience. The foundational bond between parents and infants shapes a child’s emotional, social, and cognitive growth, and by focusing on this critical connection, we can help create secure attachments that serve as a strong base for a child’s future well-being. My goal is to empower parents with the knowledge and tools to foster healthy attachments, promoting their child’s emotional security and overall resilience. Through attachment-centered interventions, we can help break cycles of intergenerational trauma, support parents in understanding their own attachment histories, and guide them in creating nurturing environments for their children, aligning with my belief in the transformative power of early intervention and the importance of supporting families during these crucial formative years.
